About NCEF

Empowering Faith, Engineering Futures.

Introduction and Legacy

Our Roots: The 1990s Christian University Student Movement

Our Fellowship traces its origins to the dynamic Christian University Student Movement in Nepal (NBCBS/University Student Fellowship) during the 1990s. Inspired by the biblical mandate in Matthew 5:13-16, Christian engineering students and graduates united with the vision to be 'salt and light.'

Formation and Growth: Prayer Cells, Bible Study Groups, and Annual Seminars

Encouraged by parachurch organizations and local churches, our members formed prayer cells and Bible study groups across colleges and universities. Annual seminars became a cornerstone, fostering fellowship and a shared commitment to excellence.

Global Connections: Partnership with IFES for Leadership Training and CGF

In pursuit of continuous growth, we forged partnerships with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) for Leadership Training and collaborated with Christian Graduate Fellowship (CGF). These global connections enriched our community and broadened our perspectives.

Inclusive Community: Welcoming Diverse Professionals

Beyond Christian engineers, our fellowship extends a warm welcome to professionals such as architects, sub-engineers, overseers, draftspersons, project managers, and surveyors. This diversity enriches our collective knowledge and expertise.

Service Beyond Ourselves: Support for Churches and Related Organizations

Driven by a commitment to serve, we offer support to churches and various organizations. From concept planning to construction management, our contributions span diverse projects, including Church Buildings, Orphanage Homes, Bible Colleges, Training Centers, Water Supply, Small Irrigation, and Suspension Bridges.

Join Our Legacy: Embrace Service and Excellence

We invite you to join us in a legacy of service and excellence. Whether you are an aspiring professional or an experienced expert, become a part of our community dedicated to making a positive impact in Nepal and beyond.

Mission:

Empower, Equip, Encourage

Established by the inspiration of the word of God to be salt and light on Earth (Matthew 5:13-16), NCEF (Nepal) is on a mission to empower, equip, and encourage our members to achieve their full potential in realizing the vision of our Fellowship.

Vision:

Transforming Lives

Using the professional skills and talents entrusted to us, our vision is to witness a world transformed by the life-changing reality of the gospel. People discovering Jesus as their Lord and Savior, experiencing the fullness of life He offers.

Statement of Faith:

Anchored in Belief

Our members, rooted in local churches, hold firm to the authority of the Bible and profess the Apostle’s Creed as a summary of our shared faith.
